Frequently Asked Questions

What do I wear to class?

Dancers (and Grown Ups) should wear comfortable clothes that they can move and groove in! For footwear, dancers should wear ballet slippers or jazz shoes. Dancers will NOT be allowed to participate in activities barefoot or in unsafe footwear, such as sandals or flip-flops.

What is the cost?

Each session costs $250 for the 10-week program.

How do I register?

All tuition can be paid online through the website, or via Venmo. Cash or cheque payments will not be accepted at this time.

Can I do a trial class?

Yes! All new students interested in attending our classes may schedule a trial class to see our studio and determine if the class is a good fit. Please email us at hello@odonnellacademy.com or fill out the contact form below to schedule your trial class at a time best for you.

What if I miss a class?

You can schedule a make-up class in the same level of classes within the same session of the class missed. Please email us to schedule a make up class! All registered dancers may also attend virtual classes at any time during the session if they need to miss in-studio classes for any reason.

Is there a recital?

Dancers in all our Tiny Toes programs will have an opportunity to showcase their skills with their grown ups in our end-of-session showcase and celebration. Dancers enrolled in our Spring session or in our year round classes will also participate in our end of year showcase.

Why dance with O’Donnell?

Our faculty are certified, highly qualified and have many years of experience working with children. The O’Donnell Academy is a certified Irish dance school, registered and regulated by An Coimisiun Le Rince Gaelacha in Dublin, Ireland. We are proud to offer dance classes as an opportunity for children to exercise, learn to perform, build confidence, and have fun in a safe and supportive environment.
